Founded by Carl Langenskiold and Richard Ohman, two Swedish entrepreneurs with a shared vision, Twinpalms was created as an independent and design-forward hospitality brand.

Their approach combines innovation with a commitment to considered luxury and attentive service. Together, they have shaped Twinpalms into one of Phuket’s leading luxury groups, guided by experience, independence and a focus on meaningful guest experiences.

A graduate of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, Olivier Gibaud brings extensive experience from leading hospitality brands, including Mandarin Oriental and Four Seasons.

As General Manager since 2004, he has guided the growth of Twinpalms while maintaining a focus on quality, consistency and guest experience. His approach balances operational insight with an awareness of evolving trends, ensuring the brand remains responsive and forward-looking.
